Genevieve Alexander

Tell us a little bit about yourself in 3-4 sentences:

My name is Genevieve Alexander and I'm motivated by many things; my children, growth, being a part of the community, and getting things accomplished are a few that come to mind. After flying helicopters for 16 years, the career proved to be too risky and demanding for a balanced family life, so I decided to stop flying and start my own business. It was a tough choice and needless to say, many motivational YouTube videos were consumed during that transition year. After much research and contemplation (and answering many questions like "do you prefer to wear heels or a baseball hat to work?",) I chose to start a mobile business called Fibrenew Bozeman.

Tell us a little bit about how you serve your people, in 2-3 sentences:

The deer in headlight look is not an uncommon reaction when I tell people what my company does, and that’s understandable because it’s challenging to understand the scope of our services in a one sentence spiel! We service multiple markets including automotive, residential, aviation, marine, medical, and commercial. Basically, our restoration services save our customers both time and money by offering an alternative to replacement by repairing tears, discoloration, holes and cracks in Leather, Vinyl and Plastic. I have found a passion for leather and enjoy offering maintenance programs like leather protection so that a customer’s investment retains is beauty and value.

What are you wanting to gain from your investment in this community?

Juggling parenthood, entrepreneurship, health and all things life presents very real and very "special" challenges; I’m happy to be a part of a group of like-minded ladies who share some of those same adversities and successes!

What are you wanting to offer this community?

I love helping folks out, and I actually feel more useful than I did for much of my last career! I’m definitely a hands-on girl, a DIYer at heart and I never turn my nose up to a new adventure!

I have found a passion for leather and enjoy offering maintenance programs like leather protection so that a customer’s investment retains is beauty and value. As summer approaches, I’m looking forward to helping customers with their spring to-do lists by repairing Vinyl Siding and Window Casings, protecting homes one water drop and bug at a time :-)
