Lori Addicks
I like to think that the silver in my hair is representative of the wisdom and skills that I have amassed over a 25+ year career in corporate America working for a Fortune 100 company, as well as other smaller, national organizations.
With the 25 years of experience and expertise developed through serving in learning and development and organizational development roles; I launched as an independent consultant in 2008 – in the midst of the recession! I consult and coach clients locally, nationally and globally, and I have done so for the past 12 ½ years.
After spending the bulk of our careers in Atlanta, GA we moved to Big Sky full-time in 2013, when our youngest graduated high school, and we had nothing tying us to ATL. Both my husband, Rich and I, are from the west originally – both from Oregon, and Montana is certainly a better match for us and our interests. We are big outdoors people – with a love of skiing, biking, hiking, camping, and for my husband – hunting and fly fishing as well.
The focus of my consulting practice is serving as a catalyst for individual, team and organizational development and growth. I design solutions for leadership development, team development and team coaching, as well as executive coaching. The beauty of the work I do is that it can be done virtually or in-person. My favorite is to be in person, however with the pandemic taking over our lives of late, I was able to pivot easily to operating virtually – thank goodness for Zoom!!
A challenge I’m facing:
One of areas of work in which I shine is the design, development and facilitation of an approach to leadership development that I refer to as a Leadership Intensive Consortium.
A Leadership Intensive Consortium is a 6-9 month leadership development experience for mid-level leaders looking to prepare themselves for taking on increasing levels of responsibility as a senior leader in their respective organizations. Strengthening the bench within organizations.
Just before we hit the COVID 19 shut down in March, I was gearing up to reach out to organizations in Bozeman (Big Sky too) to share the Leadership Intensive Consortium concept with leaders of organizations. My goal is to find 5-6 organizations that would like to join a consortium experience. We limit the number of participants to 20 to ensure that they get individual attention and are able to build meaningful relationships (a strategic network) with their fellow participants.
I am looking for introductions to senior leaders of organizations committed to developing their bench and would like to explore this approach as an option.
An Invitation to Connect:
I welcome the opportunity to connect virtually with members of Sky Oro. Living in Big Sky and generally traveling a significant amount for work (except for 2020) has made it more challenging to attend many of the Sky Oro functions.
If you are interested in chatting, I would love to have a virtual coffee with you! You can reach me by phone or text at 404-402-4043 or Lori@Larkspurgroup.net
